Andrew Findlay
Director

Andrew’s career began as a linesman in Victoria, the Northern Territory and Western Australia before starting his own business including underground utility locating.  In 2011 he moved across country with his wife and two sons to enjoy all the Snowy Mountains has to offer and in 2017 LiveLocates commenced offering underground utility locating in the Snowy Mountains.

Andrew likes nothing more than to potter around his property keeping weeds in check over summer and firewood stocks high in winter.  He also loves riding his e-bike and is often out on weekends with ‘the boys’ exploring the trails.

Fun Fact: In his 20s, Andrew played in a mixed netball competition with his workmates and their girlfriends and won ‘Best on Court’ for five weeks in a row despite never having played netball in his life before!

Malcolm Anderson
Locator

Mal joined the Livelocates team in November 2021 and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from working in the construction and water and wastewater industry for 20 years.

Mal is happily married and has two beautiful daughters.

In his spare time Mal enjoys working on new projects around the house, woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his family.

Fun Fact: Mal once won a trailer reversing competition two years in a row.

George Nimmo
Locator

George started with LiveLocates in the role of Vacuum Excavator operator before showing an interest in a locating role, to now be a fully accredited BYDA locator.

Outside of work, George’s time is taken up with his wife and 2 children. He’s also a member of the local branches of the R.F.S and S.E.S.

With the little spare time he has with 2 young children, George likes to do the endless list of DIY projects around the house and occasionally fossicking.

Fun Fact: George hasn’t always worked in the field and once owned and operated a café with his wife before selling that business and both of them moving on to new career challenges.

Kate O’Brien
Office Manager

Kate joined the LiveLocates team at the beginning of 2023 and brings with her a wealth of administrative knowledge, having had 17 years of experience in various administrative roles within the real estate industry.

Kate is kept busy outside of work with her husband and their 3 children and is heavily involved in volunteering for the local school community.

In her spare time, Kate enjoys gardening, baking, and reading.

Fun Fact: Kate’s favourite organisational tool is a ‘to do list’, she normally has a few on the go at once to cover the different aspects of her busy life.
