LivePower – Construction and Plant has been providing specialised Hiab Borers and Crane Borers to the powerline industry in WA since 2007. Their equipment is renowned for being efficient, reliable and purpose built to meet the requirements of powerline contractors engaged in the maintenance and construction of overhead powerlines. The vehicles are rugged, able to work in all environments and can carry out a range of operations for powerline contractors including:
- Auger boring
- Pole changes to 12.5m height poles
- Transformer and crossarm changes
- Stump/pole pulling
- Installation of screw anchors
- Transportation of materials to and from site – the protective side rails installed on all our Hiab Borers provides greater safety and security for the load ensuring materials don’t leave our vehicles until they arrive on site.

- Flat deck space for transportation and operation of cable winders
- Tow hitches for towing of trailer mounted cable winders
